OmTatva ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered ancient wisdom learning platform operated by Ayodhaam. This Refund Policy governs all contributions made by users ("you," "your") for accessing our digital educational content and services through our mobile application.

By making a contribution on our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.

2. Nature of Payments

All payments made on the OmTatva app are considered as "Contributions" towards accessing spiritual knowledge and educational content. These contributions enable you to access:

  • Premium learning modules and courses (Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, Patanjali Yoga Sutra)
  • AI-powered personalized learning paths
  • Sacred texts library and spiritual content
  • Video and audio learning materials
  • Meditation and reflection tools
  • Community features and discussions
  • Gamified spiritual growth tracking
  • Interactive quizzes and assessments

3. Non-Refundable Contributions

3.1 General Policy

All contributions made towards accessing OmTatva's digital educational content and services are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Monthly subscription contributions (1-month access)
  • Annual subscription contributions (12-month access)
  • Premium course enrollments
  • Digital learning module purchases
  • Community access fees
  • Any other in-app purchases

3.2 Rationale

The non-refundable nature is based on the following:

  • Immediate access to digital content upon contribution
  • Instant availability of learning materials and educational resources
  • Digital nature of services prevents "return" of accessed content
  • Significant resources invested in AI-powered content creation and curation
  • Content can be downloaded, viewed, or consumed immediately

3.3 Acceptance

By completing a payment transaction, you explicitly accept that:

  • You have understood the non-refundable nature of contributions
  • You have reviewed the content/subscription details before contributing
  • You will not seek refunds for change of mind or dissatisfaction

4. Access Periods

4.1 Contribution Types

Your contribution provides access for specific time periods:

Monthly Contribution:

  • Duration: 1 month (30 days)
  • Access: Full access to all premium features and content
  • Non-refundable from the moment of activation

Annual Contribution:

  • Duration: 12 months (365 days)
  • Access: Full access to all premium features and content
  • Non-refundable from the moment of activation

4.2 Access Activation

  • Access is activated immediately upon successful payment
  • You will receive confirmation via email and in-app notification
  • Access period begins from the date and time of successful transaction
  • Once activated, the contribution becomes non-refundable
  • Downloaded or streamed content cannot be returned

4.3 No Pro-Rata Refunds

  • No partial refunds for unused portion of subscription period
  • Cancellation does not entitle you to refund for remaining time
  • Access continues until end of current subscription period

5. Spiritual Retreats & Tourism Bookings

5.1 Information Access Only

OmTatva app provides curated information about spiritual retreats, temple tours, ashram visits, and wellness programs across India.

5.2 Third-Party Bookings

  • Retreat bookings are facilitated through third-party service providers
  • Separate terms and conditions apply for retreat bookings
  • Refund policies for retreats are governed by respective service providers
  • OmTatva acts as an information aggregator and facilitator only
  • Any booking contributions are non-refundable once confirmed

5.3 Commission-Based Services

  • We earn commission on successful retreat bookings
  • Commission is non-refundable regardless of retreat cancellation
  • Direct disputes regarding retreats to be resolved with service providers

6. Corporate Wellness Programs (B2B)

6.1 Institutional Subscriptions

All contributions towards corporate wellness programs, institutional packages, and B2B services are non-refundable once the agreement is executed and access credentials are provided.

6.2 Custom Agreements

  • Separate Service Level Agreements (SLA) may apply
  • Custom terms negotiated in written agreements
  • Default refund policy applies unless explicitly modified in writing

7. Exceptions (As Per Indian Law)

While contributions are generally non-refundable, we will process refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

7.1 Technical Failures Attributable to OmTatva

  • Multiple payment debits for a single transaction (duplicate charges)
  • Payment successful but access not granted due to server error on our end
  • Complete service unavailability for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our technical fault
  • App malfunction preventing access to paid content for extended periods

7.2 Unauthorized Transactions

  • Fraudulent transactions reported within 24 hours of occurrence
  • Unauthorized use of payment instruments (subject to verification)
  • Must provide supporting documentation:
    • FIR copy (if filed)
    • Bank dispute reference number
    • Transaction details and proof

7.3 Billing Errors

  • Incorrect amount charged beyond the stated subscription price
  • Wrong subscription tier activated
  • Must be reported within 7 days with evidence

7.4 Processing of Exceptions

To request a refund under exceptional circumstances:

  • We will verify your claim within 7 business days
  • Additional information may be requested
  • Decision will be communicated via email

4. Refund Processing:

  • If approved, refund processed within 15-20 business days
  • Refund to original payment method only
  • Bank processing time may vary (additional 5-7 business days)

8. No Refunds For

No refunds will be provided under any circumstances for:

  • Change of mind after making contribution
  • Dissatisfaction with content quality (subjective opinion)
  • Inability to access due to user's personal device issues
  • Insufficient internet connectivity on user's end
  • Incompatible device or outdated operating system
  • Partial consumption or non-utilization of content
  • Non-completion of courses or learning modules
  • Personal reasons or change in learning preferences
  • Account suspension due to violation of Terms of Service
  • Requests made after the 7-day exception period
  • Content already accessed, downloaded, or viewed
  • Loss of interest in spiritual learning
  • Better alternatives found elsewhere
  • Financial difficulties or budget constraints

9. Cancellation of Subscription

9.1 User-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

9.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancellation prevents future auto-renewal charges only

9.3 Auto-Renewal Cancellation

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before next billing cycle
  • Failure to cancel in time will result in automatic renewal
  • Renewed subscriptions are also non-refundable
